First Week Archery elk was amazing on opportunities.  We had 4 elk hunters and we were 100% on shot opportunities on bulls.  Unfortunately, we had some missed shots but it was an incredible week full of close encounters.  The closest was 5 yards from a bull, next closest was 14 yards.  We also had two bear hunters in camp and unfortunately the bears did not cooperate at all.
