7 of our elk hunters also had deer tags, although they concentrated mostly on elk we had 3 bucks harvested and had 1 missed. This makes us 57% on opportunities and 42% on kills.
4 of our 2nd season elk hunters also had deer tags. We killed one nice buck and had one really nice buck missed and one small 4×3 passed. Additionally we had one hunter with just a deer tag and he filled it the second day of his hunt.
We were 100% on deer for 3rd and 4th season! 3 for 3 both seasons.
Summary: We had a total of 17 deer hunters this year. 11 of them harvested bucks making us 64% on kills.
